Dr. Micheal and Mary Dan EadesDrs. Michael and Mary Dan Eades

In the past 15 years, the husband and wife team of Michael and Mary Dan Eades have made several medical discoveries in the areas of human health and weight loss. Among their accomplishments, the Eades helped pioneer the belief that diets higher in protein and "good fat" can be more successful than those that emphasize high-carbohydrate, low-fat. They have overseen studies of successful diets that allowed participants to eat food such as red meat, butter, eggs and cheese.

The Drs. Eades currently serve as Medical Directors of Advanced Metabolic Research Group, LLC. Both doctors travel extensively for lecture, radio and TV appearances. Although the Eades no longer maintain their own private medical practice, they continue to work with other physicians who want to learn how to use the Eades' dietary regimen to better improve their patients' health. Together, the Drs. Eades have written a total of 11 books on the subjects of diet, nutrition, exercise, and health.

Michael R. Eades, M.D. attended California State Polytechnic University where he earned his engineering degree and the University of Arkansas for his medical degree. He has been a general and family physician in private medical practice for over twenty years, the past dozen years specializing in the fields of weight loss, nutrition, and metabolic medicine.

Mary Dan Eades, M.D. attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry and her medical degree. She practiced general and family medicine for ten years, and then in 1992 joined her husband in the practice of nutritional and metabolic medicine.
